Gun control has always been about disarming minorities. MLK wasn't anti-gun, btw.
The fight against gun violence is also a fight against systemic racism. Today I remember Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. & his untimely murder. Decades later, Black people are still disproportionately shot & killed in the U.S. To end gun violence, we must also address our prejudices.
