This is what we boomers would call a gimme. You’re still young. You’re still learning how to navigate wisely a world you didn’t create but have borne a great deal pain from. When you know better you do better. 
I know I tweeted about natural selection earlier. I should not have done that. Talking about these things in terms of natural selection is not only incorrect but a morally wrong and inhumane way of talking about this.

If it's any consolation, we Gen Xers said pretty much the same thing about a lot of things when we were your age. We just lacked social media and all of its many pitfalls.
