Thread: I don’t understand how Republicans can’t see Trump is ripping them off. He takes millions from organizations like the NRA, does nothing, then uses the militaristic personality cult of the Republican Party to shame any dissent so he can keep ripping off his own side.

Trump avoids any consequences for breaking his promises by making more big promises to get people excited distracting from his previous ones, failing to accomplish the new ones and repeating the cycle. If start you criticize his broken promises you’re ostracized as a leftist

This is part of the reason why he always is talking about Democrats “incompetence and lying”, it enables him to do exactly that because anyone that says he is incompetent and lying even on his own side will be countered with, “at least he’s not an incompetent lying Democrat!”

When in reality he has done nothing and will continue to do nothing and continue to get rich off of it because he is not loyal to anyone but himself By weaponizing the personality cult to crack down on any dissent he is able to continually rip off his own side with 0 consequence

Donald Trump is not good at many things but he does know how to con someone and he’s doing it right now with the entire Republican Party.
