Unless it was Suleimani himself who was going to plant the bombs or commit whatever attack was planned, killing him DOES NOTHING to prevent an “imminent attack” - as one tweeter wrote, killing Bin Laden on 9/10 would not have prevented 9/11. It would have hardened their resolve.
