A JROTC student sacrificed his life to save fellow students at your school

Technically many schools should do away with rotc programs because it is in conflict with most equality and diversity statements. As we now know the military actively discriminates against transgender people. We should be protesting this to our universities

I’m very proud to say that JROTC class Is the largest and one of the most respected classes on the campus where I teach. The cadets are fine young men and women. Their instructors are wonderful people.

Let me give a little background, I helped organize my school’s MFOL walkout in March. I am also an ROTC cadet at university. Goes to show that you can’t paint with such a broad brush in trying to get rid of ROTC

I appreciate your service & MFOL organizing. It’s the recruiters that are the problem, & that fact that our military uses the college cost crisis to entice young people to enlist bc they can’t pay for college otherwise. It’s why few rich kids serve & so many poor kids do.
