From its creation and to this day our policing system was made to protect and serve white supremacy. Cops have no place in our schools. Funding for them should instead go to therapists and violence intervention programs.

This is not about any one individual cop it’s about a collective system built to protect killers & enable genocide. It doesn’t matter how much training a cop has if they’re still working in a system that was created by the state to protect and serve white supremacy.

I’m sure this tweet will make many people uncomfortable But the reality is if you look back on American history and you are comfortable, you don’t know American history. Without being uncomfortable there is no progress.

Toronto got your message and the Dept of Public health. They have voted almost unanimously to make gun violence a public health issue, target most vulnerable groups, counselling, etc They also want a ban on ammunition sales and guns. That is not an impossible dream/
