This is not about any one individual cop it’s about a collective system built to protect killers & enable genocide. It doesn’t matter how much training a cop has if they’re still working in a system that was created by the state to protect and serve white supremacy.

I’m sure this tweet will make many people uncomfortable But the reality is if you look back on American history and you are comfortable, you don’t know American history. Without being uncomfortable there is no progress.

Yes the answer would be to have people who specialize in mental health, with de-escalation, with developmental psychology training, with social work training, stop underfunding minority schools and do not use Police as judge, jury and executioner, involving parents in the process
