Historians will look back on young people today and say we are the generation that saved the human race from extinction or that we’re the last ones that could do anything about it but failed to do so. We must do everything to prevent the latter or die trying.
This will only be possible if we establish structures similar to SNCC and the SDS to protect our future and establish a new left once again.

My sister was a founding member of SNCC and I worked in the SDS. You and your cohorts are our last, best hope! We will help you as much as we can, but your generation are the leaders now. Lead on!!!
Take the baton! The previous generations really doo-dooed their pants on everything.
The young always says this of the old until they themselves are old and realize that what they thought was "simple" really isn't.
As someone alive during that era, I agree, takes every approach to move the needle. Also keep organizations very focused on goals & not throw in every possible social ill. This hurt the student movements when they started to diffuse message beyond anti-war. Stick w/main battle.
Strongly recommend leaning toward SNCC as your model.
