Violence towards the oppressor enables them to justify more violence and oppression. Secondly, it affirms their belief their actions are justified because those they oppress are now seen as objects not humans, enabling more oppression.

We should never tolerate intolerance. You run into the intolerance paradox if you do.

While I do believe that the paradox of tolerance is a valid notion, there's a difference between tolerating intolerance and choosing not to hate the intolerant. One addresses the intolerance itself, the other is about the feelings one has towards an intolerant person.
