The kid had a gun in the school. The football coach saw him, grabbed the gun, and hugged the kid. Handed the gun to a teacher. We’ll never know how many lives the football coach saved.

Amazing. I can't help but think this could have taken a tragic turn if the teacher had been armed with a weapon rather than a hug.

What is the context of this? I missed something this weekend apparently.

This happened back in May, the video was just released on Friday. The student was suicidal and wasn’t planning on injuring fellow students. The student is getting the mental health help that he needs now.
