It’s on us to act to love each other as American’s to actively persevere against hatered and division used to advance political careers though dividing us, the American people. Even though it doesn’t seem like it— we really are more alike than we are different.
Action suggestion: Text the word: CHECKS to 644-33 and then call your Senators to insist they act to end gun violence & fight for stronger gun laws.

Way, way, way more alike than we are different (though we are susceptible to demagogues stoking our fears about the differences). We can find that out for ourselves by LISTENING to each other. Odds are if we really listen we WON'T demonize. We're working on making this possible.

I heard this kind of crap when I was growing up in Central Florida, and I'm sixty-five years old. I shouldn't be shocked that there are still young people who think like this, but I am. I want to believe that we are making progress, but sometimes it's hard to do so.
It's a family thing, David. Apples don't fall far from the tree. Just as children who are abused are more likely to abuse their own children, kids who grow up in racist households are more likely to be racist. I'll bet this just-expelled kid isn't very different from his dad.
