At minimum giving people options to vote for candidates with similar life experiences to them. I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again: We need more diversity of experience in Congress. Often times many experiences are exclusive to women, people of color and poor ppl.

We need publicly funded elections. That way, you don't have to be rich or chase after dollars to be elected.

Good point. It would also help to have Members of Congress who actually live (as in sleep at night) in the districts they claim to represent. Many Members do not have any "skin in the game," so it's not surprising that they're not as effective as they should be.
