Believe it or not, people’s identities have a great deal to do with their life experiences, which leads to diversity of thought.
If we want an actually representive democracy we need a lot more young people, people of color, women and LGBTQ people to run.

It's basic stuff - the Government should be representative of those they represent. Given young people, POC, women, LGBTQ and disabled people exist then it's obvious that they should be in Government - at all levels.
