I’m glad it’s been blocked, the NICS system should be opened up for public use so background checks could be done by anyone instead of the burdensome BS that the house passed.

I totally agree with you. The only way you can have an effective participation rate on background checks on private gun sales is to allow the public to have access to the NICS.
