What is an assault weapon?

Assault weapons are guns that are (generally) semi-automatic. They aren't used for hunting and usually aren't for sport/practice like pistols are. They're used by the military but are legal for citizens to own. They're the guns most commonly used in school/mass shootings.

I just graduated HS and honestly, the biggest thing I'm looking forward to in college is the lower chance of being shot at school. Adults who don't work at schools never had to go through active shooter drills can only cognitively understand it rather than empathetically

However my little sister is going into her Sophmore year, and I have friends who are still in HS. I worry for their safety, as well as the safety of any of the other innocent students in those schools. Nobody deserves this

I can take a Ruger 10/22 and switch out the but stock and front grip and liberals think it’s an assault weapon changing the furniture doesn’t change the function and most people learned on a .22 cal. rifle

Is there an electronic option? Or is it important to have the printed ones?
-
Florida requires the petitions be printed, signed and mailed. Thanks
