I fully support sensible gun laws-way overdue. Too many lives are lost to violence, accidents , “in the heat of the moment” when guns are readily available. No citizen needs an assault rifle-period!

This was taken during the (most recent) LA Riots. I don't know if this man is a "citizen" and don't know if he's holding "an assault-rifle"...but he sure seems to be pleased that he's armed and able to defend himself and his property.
