Sadly we’re dealing with an opposition never taught the skills required to be empathetic. We need to start teaching all children earlier how to be imaginative, how to put yourself in others’ shoes, and how to feel pain when evil acts happen to ANYONE, not just you or your family.

1) I really have serious problems trying to understand why the debate on gun control causes such rabid responses, especially when people on the pro gun control side are only asking for reasonable restrictions and not the complete removal of the right to have gun.

2) In the UK, the last school shooting was in 1996. Gun deaths in this country are still exceptionally rare and the main reason is, we have gun control laws. So I hear the argument about knives. To be honest, you've probably got a better chance of surviving a knife attack
