Well, @davidhogg111, not arming them hasn’t helped. That slippery slope you speak of is far more of a deterrent than the former. I’m ready to slide down!

Sounds like a tasty recipe, tho. Spicy. I mean if law enforcement can't get there fast enough, who else is gonna save the children? Hide and/or play dead and/or run and hope for the best? Kenshin can't be there to save everyone.

I just want to know who will protect the students from an armed teacher who's struggling with mental health issues or hard times.

Who's protecting students from armed crazy teachers right now? If they're crazy enough to shoot students they aren't waiting for their CCW permit.
