I spent 18 years of my life having a dad that came home from work everyday basis will a glock on his waist. Every 6 months when he came back from quals I’d sit with him and clean his guns. I’ve been shooting guns since 4th grade. No, I’m not trying to take your guns.

Yes, but we do not value them more than we value people.

Today is May 4. 49 anniversary of the Kent State massacre. The day our government turned it's guns on protesting students. Hope your work can keep it from happening again.

Lots of responsible people own guns, the rest are the ones that don't need a gun in their possession

Yes we are. I'm a proud, responsible gun owner.

We have plenty of guns in our home. And, we support
@ChrisMurphyCT trying to stop gun violence. This would go a lot better if gun owners would get on board and work to STOP the killing of people! Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

And, enough with the labels. People may call me a liberal, I call them ignorant. Or, I listen to their point and try to solve problems. We all have the right not to be shot.

Yes! I'm as lefty as they come, and a gun owner, as well. I have fond memories of my father, a deputy sheriff, carefully and methodically cleaning his gun every Sunday. I still love the smell of gun oil.
