Electoral enrolment forms are distributed by schools in last year of high school in most parts of Australia! It’s also against the law not to enrol or, if enrolled, to not vote! Every single citizen 18+ (except convicted prisoners) must vote in Federal elections.

Voting is compulsory in Australia. Failure to vote at a federal election without a valid and sufficient reason is an offence under section 245 of the Commonwealth Electoral Act 1918.
