The original purpose of the 2nd Amendment was to maintain state militias, free from federal authority, specifically to prevent this kind of imperialist tyranny.

Nothing in the Bill of Rights gives power to the government to do anything. It protects us from the government. In 2A, “The right of the people” puts a solid wall between us and liberal politicians trying to use the predicate clause as back door infringement. Disagree? I care not

This all started under Obama. First president to permanently deploy troops to Africa and nobody said anything because he's black. Kony was a big part of the propaganda machine effort to deploy there.

David I agree it is important to question motives and actions. However, you can't assume that every use of US military forces = imperialism. Yes there is a long history of abuses and imperialism, but modern geopolitics are more complicated than that. You need to see all the facts
