“Every good apple is complicit in the perpetuation of whatever’s rotting the apples” is a good way to put it

For those people who argued w/me about “why people of color run away if they are not guilty”. Well here is another example of why we run. This kid only picked up the arrested students cell. He didn’t run away, yet this is the police reaction. He was not guilty, he should’ve ran.

There are several angles to this vid. Another post shows the officer spraying the kid and throwing him to the floor. The kid did nothing but pick up the arrested kids cel. Even if the kid made remarks at the officer, it doesn’t warrant this reaction.

We need to police the police.

Every citizen oversight board is toothless. Police get their power from the people but once empowered they refuse to be governed by the people.

This is violence against a child and should not be tolerated! Giving this criminal “leave” of his position just exasperates those of us witnessing this violence! He should be forced to leave his role and never be permitted to own a weapon as he shows signs of impaired judgement!

When law enforcement doesn't hold its officers accountable for criminal acts, it's not just one bad apple.

This is the right thing to comment on this. For sure it is. Doing great work out here correcting such a minor thing on a police assault video.
