Firing this cop will only mean that he will go to the next town and get hired to do it all over again.

Sad but true reality, but if there was a registry for abusive law enforcement officers, I wonder would their miscreant behavior decrease?

If parents would bang there kids heads when needed, the police would not have too!
-
Police do not have to, they are trained for their job. Banging head in pavement is not in the academy curriculum. As for what parents should do, hard to make a call from where I sit, perhaps you have a better view.

Thank you! Why is firing always the goal? Can we get these people charged? Being fired should not be your only punishment for banging a teens head against the ground. If a parent did that, they’d be in jail. The police do it and they get desk duty.

We’ve got to get passed this idea that losing a job (or a promotion, or a movie deal) is equal to legal proceedings. You shouldn’t be able to escape prosecution because your employer is smart enough to dump you.

Agreed. Fired and serious jail time is needed here!

That video broke my heart and made me cry more than I have in a very long time. How can a person do this to another person?

-
Because those officers don't see black and brown people as people. They see them as less.

California now requires the release of records. Perhaps other states can follow.
