The problem is, how would you enforce something like this? Also any parent with half a brain already locks up their guns. I agree with David's message here, but making it a law will do nothing because it can't be policed.

I own a lot of guns and all of them are in heavy duty strong safes. I am a strong believer in the 2nd amendment, but I am a responsible gun owner. I own 2 safes, 1 for ammo the other for my guns. I’m the only one who can open them. I recommend the company STURDY GUN SAFES company
