I survived a violent assault in my home. Friends packed my belongings, sold the items in the room where the assault took place & I never had to return to it. My heart breaks for all of you who were forced to go back to the scene of nightmares. All should have therapy.

Same. I had to move after being assaulted in my home. I can’t imagine being a child and not having that option.

The school should be torn down. The land should be a park .

If we tear down all the places a mass shooting happens in America, we'll have a lot of parks. Maybe we need that to finally face what we have become.

I can't believe Columbine happened when I was 19 and we (adults) have done literally nothing to prevent these shootings. I'm just so sorry to these kids.

I watched that unfold on TV in UK, never guessing that 20 years later I’d have Anerican kids going to school in a system just as unsafe as that day in 1999.

I had a traumatic thing happen during pregnancy where I had to drive myself to the hospital at 28 weeks. Everything turned out okay, but it was four years before I could force myself to drive on the same route. You are normal to not be “okay”!
-
I’m sorry you went through that.
