And by mislead I mean, using terms like "white fragility" which instantly throws the people you're trying to convince, onto the defensive by default. And then using that defensiveness as proof. Where has this got you? What has this achieved?

I honestly feel sorry for people obtuse enough to believe that whites are somehow afraid to discuss race. They're not. I think they know and hence frame issues in a manner which either necessitates semantics on an etymological level at best or best misleads.
