When you are used to privilege, equality feels like oppression.

Amen to that! Whenever the disenfranchised demand a seat at the table, THEY are demonized and called militant, radical, socialist and accused of trying to "steal" what "belongs" to someone else. MLK was called a communist for demanding equal rights for African-Americans.

My father used to say “what goes around comes around”. I believe Karma is real. I also see a rise in the diversity of the people in this country. I’ve heard that people of color will be the majority some day. Consider white privilege over at some point. Reject hate and grow human

That's not how it works. Many states are already majority-minority. If you think "white privilege" is over there, you couldn't be more wrong. Black income is 60% that of white, Black WEALTH is 12%. That's due to racist federal, state and local laws, some STILL in effect.

Well, you have done it. I really respected you as voice for the Parkland survivors. But your constant way of bashing groups of people and lumping everyone in the same boat is annoying. I am white and republican but I fight for equal rights as hard as anyone. Have to unfollow

Don’t worry too much, Hunter. David is just spouting off with what he thinks people want to hear him say. He’s trying to be what he thinks the left is. I’m hoping he actually grows up, as his platform could be used for good if he started thinking for himself...

I think it's important to break down WHY white people feel discriminated against. It is based in a core belief that non- whites are inferior and, thus, anything they gain has been stolen (from whites). Modern Manifest Destiny: It's their right to take all that they see.

Sad but true.
