I'm old. When I look back at the freedoms I had at your age, freedoms you'll never likely experience, it makes me beyond sad. Without the crippling fear of each other that has been promoted by the media and politicians in the past few decades, we would still be free.

I have those same kinds of thoughts. That younger people don’t have a clue what they’ve lost because they never had it. And frankly, we’re talking about whites, because a hell of a lot of people of color have never lived free from oppression, deprivation or discrimination...

I’ve always wondered this. But I think they’re fine with the tyrannical government. It’s liberal government that they’re afraid of.

Being a former Marine I’ve wondered about this myself. The police should be the opposite of what I used to do.

This started in the 90’s w/ gang violence and their acquisition of automatic & semi-automatic weapons. The police then were outgunned.

And ammo-sexuals, who claim they have weapons to fight a tyrannical gov't, all seem to support the militarization of the police. They make no sense.
