The huge unspoken problem here is that the rate of domestic violence is about 24-25% among police officers. 2-4 times the rate of the general public. It’s why victims often don’t receive the help they should from responding officers. I’d be

Yes this is one simple loop home. Personally I think guns should be insured. There would be way more accountability then.

Also: look at the horrifyingly high percentage of killers with histories of domestic violence. It is an unmistakable pattern.
