The people that should be remebered following mass shootings, like the one at my high school, are heroes like Chris Hixon, Aarron Feis and Peter Wang along with the victims. Not the shooter.

I think murders should be made public. Not to glorify them but to bring to light who they are, where they are from and who didn’t stop them when they had a chance.

Always a very sensitive topic. I would agree to inform people about the horrific crime, though on the other we can all agree not to give publicity to these kinds of acts. Conflicting are the two, not a single one will be solved quickly.

I understand your position. Have you consider, though, that informing the public of details about the shooter allows them to provide needed information about the crime, possible links, networks of contacts etc.?
