Neither will enacting gun control, as it fails to get to the roots of many issues, not to mention the many types of gun violence. Then there’s the toddler who brought a gun to pre-K in N.C. a few days ago. No law would have stopped that. Metal detectors would have.

Nick, if an adult allows a situation for a toddler to handle their weapon unsupervised, there is no law on Earth to prevent that level of incompetence. I promise you no legitimate 2A supporter would agree with that situation. We are for responsible ownership.

years ago, when women in Jerusalem/Tel Aviv were stalked & killed, a curfew was recommended to protect the women. Prime Minister Gold Meir refused & called for a curfew on men instead--men being the killers. in that spirit, take away the guns, don't further traumatize the kids

Maybe we should put razor wire around the schools as well. Or we could sit down together and start to solve the problem of mass and ongoing slaughter by gun that exists in this country. Having guards and guns in school is called losing. We can do better for our children.
