The book also talks about the Interpersonal Theory of Suicide (ITS) basically saying, that most often for someone to develop serious thoughts of suicide they have to feel hopeless about two aspects of their life, Interpersonal connections & their ability to contribute to society

A simple phrase but bears deeper consideration. As I told 2 people I evaluated in past 2 days for severe PTSD: "You can be both strong & human." "Strong" doesn't mean negating/suppressing human/compassionate emotions; experiencing painful emotions is not "weak". 4 more info DM me

I agree. when David is president, if anyone tries to end their own life with a gun and survives, they’ll go to jail for life for possessing illegal weapons. And that’s the way it should be.

Rather than attack guns, address the real issue, mental health care. Make it easily available, afforadable, without fear of losing rights.
