You are correct. I own guns (required a background check), I have a carry permit (required a background check) and I believe that should be required of anyone purchasing a firearm. Also, I now believe ALL semi-automatic weapons should be banned

If the buyer has nothing to hide then a background check shouldn’t be a bother. A background check for a gun should be as normal as a credit check for car loan.
