Most of gun violence in the streets is caused by guns obtained illegally. We must secure the borders and gun violence will reduce.
Ending gun violence in one zip code is not ending gun violence.
We must keep working to make every community free from gun violence, no matter the zipcode.
Through people like @EricaFordNYC and her violence intervention program @LIFECampInc I know we will.

Wouldn’t that be “gang violence” instead of “gun violence”? Wouldn’t illegally obtaining a firearm be unpreventable by any piece of legislation?

I want statistics about how many lives AR15s have saved compared to how many lives they have taken. We know what they will be but I want Congress to get the numbers and start from there.
