I hate to be the one to break it to you, kiddo, but in 20 years, you're not going to be young anymore. There's only one alternative to save you from it. And you have to live in a multi-generational world. And we need a government that recognizes it is a multi-generational world.

Maybe listen to what he said and try to understand what he means rather than pulling 5 words out of an interview and reacting to that. Young people have the potential to change everything. But that power can be fleeting, his point was not to get distracted by GOP baits

I could tell that Sorkin cares deeply, but “young people need to stop acting like young people” was condescending. People should act like their true selves, and not act like what they think others want to see in them.

The older I get, the more I remind myself never to become one of those people who is so bitter and jaded by the world that he can't change or at least accept and embrace others who want to try to foster positive change. "It's always been that way" is tired.
