If you need to defend yourself from someone a mile away you’re not defending yourself, you’re hunting humans.

Technically that particular weapon isnt that effective at a mile, it begins to really drop off at a half mile, unless your a trained sniper with the wind at your back
But your point is well made
Keep it up David

I have defended myself perfectly for over 62 years without owning or using a single gun, so it’s possible.

Guns (all of them) save lives. If you ever want to head to a range and shoot my AR—15, just let me know. I’ll make sure to bring all 8 of my 30-round magazines—fully loaded, of course:

Without guns your rights are an illusion.
If you cant defend them. You don't have any.

I was discussing guns with the brother of a friend of mine. I asked him why he had to have so many guns.
He said he wanted to be able to defend his family, didn't trust the government, etc.
I asked if he stockpiled food too. He said, "I don't need to; I have a gun!"
