The Bible makes it clear that God expects us to obey laws. The only exception to this is when a law forces us to disobey a command of God. Illegal immigration is the breaking of a gov law. Nothing in Scripture contradicts the idea of a sovereign nation having immigration laws.

The Bible promotes treating everyone with kindness and compassion. People are trying to apply for asylum, which is legal. Our government is actually breaking international law by turning people away. We all want secure borders, we just want it done humanely. And so would God.
