My key take away from the 177 page school safety report @BetsyDeVosED put out with the Dept of Education yesterday is that she endorsed Extreme-Risk-Protection-Orders. But only at the state level - not Federal. We need these laws to be in all 50 states.

They do have gun violence to deal with! Yes, they may not experience mass shootings, however , many many inner city kids have either family members or friends that have been shot.
