My key take away from the 177 page school safety report @BetsyDeVosED put out with the Dept of Education yesterday is that she endorsed Extreme-Risk-Protection-Orders. But only at the state level - not Federal. We need these laws to be in all 50 states.

To summarize the commission talked to students 3 times Once to elementary school students in Handover, MD Once to handpicked students the commission brought into DC Once to middle school students in Adams County, WI And Never visited an inner-city school.
If one state comes up with a good law, others will follow, but one size doesn’t fit all in many cases. Feds mess up more than they fix usually.
But just yesterday a federal judge ruled that its not the school or Law enforcements responsibility to protect students. This is a state by state issue since law enforcement is provided by states not the federal government.
The key takeaway is that felon and mentally-deranged students need to be removed from mainstream public schools and put into juvenile correction facilities. School safety would increase exponentially.
So why are you not addressing what is going on in Florida, why are you not trying to change things there, oh that is right you do not care about your fellow students all you care about is getting on the news, making money off of the deaths of students & growing your cult.
Each state governing as it deemed best is one of the greatest things about this country.
Does a federal law make it more enforceable? Perhaps it would be as effective as our federal laws against drugs or criminals and their illegal guns...
