How is it even not a requirement yet? It’s common sense. Sure, you can buy this weapon to kill people. First we need to know who you are & where to find you if you kill someone with it & make sure you don’t have a history of violent or certain mental issues. It’s so simple.

Because it's not common sense, seeks only to disenfranchise otherwise law abiding citizens, has no effect on crime, and disproportionately affects the poor.

1- "...shall not be infringed". That's my 'license', & it's not open to arbitrary negotiation with the perpetually-offended. 2- Any comparisons 2 drivers licences is specious. Driving isn't a right...but the right to defend oneself as one sees fit isn't yours to take away.
