The problem is, most of the tyranny, if not all, has been coming from the left. That's why I walked away from the left 3 years ago and now consider myself independent due to the rampant stupidity in both the left and the right.

May I ask what you mean by " most tyranny is from the left."? Because in my experience, and by the general behaviour/ideological values the right upholds, that statement is simply untrue. I've never had to worry about the left revoking my rights or treating me as subhuman.
