I introduced a bipartisan climate change bill that will reduce our carbon emissions by 90% by 2050. By putting a price on carbon, we will make pollution more expensive and help drive our country toward cleaner energy alternatives. #PriceOnPollution

Hi Jimmy, this bill wouldn't have any "trading" like cap and trade. It's a straightforward price on carbon pollution, so it's much easier and more transparent to execute. You can learn more about it at http://energyinnovationact.org .

Thanks for what, saying hey we are going to tax the hell out of companies so they have no choice but to go to other countries which loses jobs, taxes, revenue from the employees. This is the stupidest thing to do.

When a politician says they have put a price tag on something, you need to ask yourself, who is paying for it? The answer will usually be tax payers and consumers. The government doesn’t generate money, they collect taxes, business sell goods and services!
