Hell no, we should raise it to 21 and must own property since until you have something lose you vote blindly without doing the research. This is how we get completely ignorant people into office. Also why ballets had blanks next to candidates, they only vote for the main! Clueles

This is the most uninformed, awful thing I've read today. Raise it to 21 and must own property? This sounds like something straight out of Jim Crow era.

I agree Lisa, for the same reasons you cite! David, words alone cannot express what you have done. I am so proud of you, Cameron, Alex,Emma, Ryan, Matt, and thousands of others in this fight! You inspired millions. But for most@ 16, too young to vote.

Almost no 18yo has a full-time job, no family responsibilities, pay much in taxes, have relevant real life experiences. Most are under education and living in a protected bubble. Hike the voting age to 25.

I am 18-years-old, live on my own, work, pay my own rent and bills and don't recieve any familial support. I know plenty of 25-year-old's who are still at home. So raising it to 25 does nothing. I voted this year and made an informed decision of who I want to represent me.
