It isn't easier than either of those things. Who are the teachers responsible for this ignorance?

Buying guns should not be easier than voting.

Voting is easier than buying a gun. I vote, have a driver license, and have 2 guns. Getting guns was the hardest.

Gun ownership is a Right. Owning a car and obtaining a driver's license are privileges. Rights and privileges are 2 different things. You should have learned this in Civics class.

You do *know* that more people are killed by medical malpractice and hammers than guns, right? So, why not regulate tools and make it harder to obtain them as well? Or hold doctors far more accountable? Let's demonize what kills more people, not just guns.

By this logic, we should take away all driving laws and licensing/insurance requirements even though they have greatly reduced the amount of auto deaths (though it is still a huge problem). Since it doesn’t fix it completely, clearly it should be a free for all.
