Civics needs to be added back to mandatory curriculum in high school! Not that all young people don’t know but more need to!

You are the future. Keep up the good work. Bc the youth decided to do something...something happened! Change happened!

You and your classmates have done a phenomenal job in teaching, schooling, and motivating interest in important
#civics issues affecting all. I'm very sorry for the reason your voices were needed. We are with you, and all, calling for#GunSenseNow#GunReform legislation asap!pic.twitter.com/9NIc6gGnEw

My son proudly stood up for himself when the "adults" at my company dinner talked down to him "you'll understand when you're older and paying taxes". Young people understand what old people forget over time.pic.twitter.com/sGSKV2PGg6

I do not like you. However, I also love the fact that you are involved, regardless of your political beliefs. You are missing the point. It isn't about reading text books. It is about years of experience in the real world. You do not have that yet.

soooo.... we gotta be involved in politics in order to have experience in politics, but we need experience before we can be involved. got it.

Maybe funding isn't the best answer, so much as teachers who have a priority of teaching civics rather than indoctrinating young minds

When I was in High School (in the 80s) as Seniors we HAD to take a class called Principles of Democracy!!! Learned all you needed to know about Civics and Democracy...is that taught today? Doubt it!!
