After taking my first day off in 8 months this is not what I wanted to wake up to. These incidents must be stopped. The federal government needs two fund gun violence research at the CDC, NIJ, NIH and NSF.

I’m heartbroken & furious. This is my town, my kids. But nowhere is safe in America. We MUST take action to protect our kids. If we don’t, the kids will make the change to protect themselves. But how pathetic that we couldn’t find a way to protect our kids from being slaughtered.

What does it say about the state of our country when during a tragedy such as this I don’t look to our elected leaders for comfort and wisdom but to teenage activists and gun violence survivors.

It says you are looking g in the wrong place. Kids don't write legislation and you can't vote away evil.

We have marches all over the Country tonight. We need to talk and take action against gun violence.
