Having to register to vote in the first place is voter suppression. America needs automatic voter registration for everyone at 18 like sane countries have IE most of Europe.

You also can’t sneak into those countries like you have been able to do here for the last few years

Yes! This AND the fact that voting day is on a workday and is NOT a national holiday. Can't think of a better way to supress the working class vote.

There’s always early and absentee voting.

I found out too I am 1 of the people that had my vote suppressed.Having registered&voted in GA in 2016,I was sure this was a mistake.I simply relocated from Atl to Augusta GA. Have a GA license etc.Was informed I must register in CO.I'm a disabled vet.Haven't lived there in yrs

When you have a change of address, even moving across the street, you have to submit that change to the county elections office. That can be done by a new voter registration form, but your correct current address must be in the voter rolls. That’s not new or voter suppression.

Just came across a prior voter, female in her early 70s, while out canvasing last night, whose registration did not come up when we checked it for her (she doesn't use a computer). We got her registration form into the right place last night. Every vote counts!!!!
