Young Lord of the Flies, Determining the worth of ideas and solutions based on the age of the human is dangerous. If you value the ideas humans hold over prioritizing their age, I think you will find far more satisfaction in your endeavors. You too will become "old" one day.

That’s absurd. The baby boomers bully everyone because of their numbers and young people have felt powerless and without a voice. Now they have one. I am all in favor and absolutely reject your labeling David ‘lord of the flies’. Ps. I am a baby boomer

Saying “young people will win” because means you are fighting old people. I get turned off every time I hear this from you because its disrespectful to the (older) people who have bravely fought for things like the Brady Bill. The NRA is the enemy. Not old people.

And isn’t the point to be as inclusive as possible to get all hands on deck? When you determine that “old” people are the enemy you’re supposedly fighting, you lose a lot of souls who otherwise might be all about supporting you.

I'm old(er), and I can't wait to say 'the young people have won', too. I stand with you.

We can’t either, David! I’m a child of the 70’s and a teacher. I see the young people of this generation, and I believe in you.
