It’s about quality in relations to representation of different POV and ability to speak truth to power for the collective and greater good.

There is no such thing as a “greater good”. Collectivism and identity politics are ruinous and anti-individualist. In the US, the individual is the largest minority and our Constitution and Bill of Rights recognize our protected individual rights as foundational.
