I definitely do not support the NRA. But I don't think the endorsement of felons should be a concern if there is a serious issue of mass incarceration. Maybe you can clarify and contextualize that point some more

I believe he is referencing the certain politicians or those running for office who are felons or pardoned felons and are supported by the NRA due to their gun beliefs and legislative motives.
